DESCRIPTION:

Among the mountains of southwest Antioquia; Cerro Tusa stands out for its almost perfect pyramidal shape, which attracts all eyes and challenges hundreds of hikers. Our adventure begins at the Archaeological Sanctuary, an ideal stopping place to learn about its great historical richness  .

After walking a short road, we will cross extensive paddocks, while we contemplate the landscape, we will visit other places of interest, until we reach the base; This is where the challenge begins, because we will put our body and mind to the test. Under the inclement humidity of the area and the stretches of up to 70° incline in the mountains, we will ascend climbing rocks, roots and even earth almost all the time.

The great reward will be reaching the top, to have an incredible 360° view, where we will observe one of the most important rivers in Colombia, one of the most imposing mountains in the region and surrounding villages. The descent will be done along the same path, with a technique that will remind us of childhood, since the ideal way to go down is to slide, so we will reach the base, then we return to the paddock and finish on the road.
