Expedition Pnn los nevados-paramillo del Quindío
Salento , Quindío
The Paramillo del Quindío is one of the highest peaks of Los Nevados National Natural Park, an inactive stratovolcano with approximately 4,750 meters above sea level, it is the highest point of Quindío. It is located in the southern part of the PNN. Previously it was known as El Nevado del Quindío due to its abundant snow; now due to climate change in the last two decades, it has considerably lost its snow cover, so now depending on the season it is possible to see it with or without snow, however it is still an enigmatic, majestic and demanding mountain.
That is why we will venture on this spectacular route approximately 50 km in three days immersed in the PNN los Nevados, where we will see unique landscapes with frailejones, lagoons and rocky mountain walls, a great experience for any professional or amateur mountaineer, lover of nature.
